During the day of July 8, the russian occupiers launched yet another missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine, using S-300 anti-aircraft defense system guided missiles and Iranian Shahed UAVs. Air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces intercepted 5x of these combat UAVs.
Some of the combat UAVs hit industrial and infrastructure facilities in Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad oblasts.
The enemy also launched 52x air strikes and around 60x MLRS attacks. The russian military shelled Lyman among other targets, the attack killed 8x and wounded 13x civilians.
The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.
The adversary focuses its main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka axes, with more than 30x combat engagements taking place during the day of July 8.
Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.
Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Vovkivka (Sumy oblast), Milove, and Veterynarne (Kharkiv oblast). The adversary fired mortars and artillery at more than 30x settlements, including Karpovychi, Hremyach (Chernihiv oblast), Myropillya, Znob-Novhorodske, Bilopillya (Sumy oblast), Hraniv, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Varvarivka, Tsehelne (Kharkiv oblast).
Kupyansk axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinity of Kyslivka (Kharkiv oblast) and Novojehorivka (Luhansk oblast). The invaders attempted an advance in the vicinities of Berestove, Novoselivske, and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk Oblast). The Ukrainian soldiers are standing their ground, all enemy attacks were repelled. Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Kupyansk, Kyslivka, and Kamyanka (Kharkiv oblast) came under artillery and mortar fire of the adversary.
Lyman axis: during the day of July 7, the adversary conducted assault operations in an attempt to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions in the vicinity of Vesele (Luhansk oblast), to no success. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Novolyubivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Dibrova, Spirne, and Ivanivka (Donetsk oblast). More than 15x settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Verkhnokamyanske, Rozdolivka, and Vesele (Donetsk oblast), were shelled with artillery.
Bakhmut axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of settlements of Ivanivske, Druzhkivka, Bila Hora, and Druzhba. More than 15x settlements, including Markove, Bohdanivka, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, and Ivanivske (Donetsk oblast), suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
Avdiivka axis: the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of Novokalynove, Stepove, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske (Donetsk oblast). The russian forces launched air strikes near Avdiivka and Sjeverne. At the same time, the adversary fired artillery at more than 15x settlements, including Keramik, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Semenivka (Donetsk oblast).
Maryinka axis: under enemy artillery fire, Ukrainian defenders repelled all attacks in the vicinity of the city of Maryinka. The adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired at the settlements of Nevelske, Heorhiivka, Yelyzavetivka, Krasnohorivka, Oleksandropil, Maryinka, Pobjeda, and Katerynivka (Donetsk oblast).
Shakhtarske axis: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the vicinity of Blahodatne (Donetsk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes near Blahodatne and Rivnopil (Donetsk oblast). The occupiers shelled more than 15x settlements, including Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Shakhtarske (Donetsk oblast).
Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the adversary focuses its main efforts on preventing further advance of Ukrainian troops. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Kozatske (Kherson oblast) and Orikhiv (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The invaders fired artillery at more than 20x settlements, including Novodarivka, Levadne, Malynivka, Hulyaipole (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Havrylivka, Antonivka, Zolota Balka (Kherson oblast), the city of Kherson; Ivanivka, and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv oblast). At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations on Melitopol and Berdyansk axes, consolidating their positions, and conducting counter-battery fire.
During the day of July 8, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 7x air strikes on the concentrations of the adversary troops. Also, the Ukrainian defenders intercepted 10x operational-tactical level reconnaissance UAVs of the enemy.
During the day of July 8, the Ukrainian missile and artillery troops hit 11x artillery systems at their firing positions, 1x ammunition depot, 3x air defense systems, and 2x electronic warfare stations of the adversary.
