For more than 4 months now, Ukrainians have been applying for marriage in a few clicks in Diia. They also choose the place, date, and format of the ceremony. No trips to the registry office and no paperwork. You don’t even need to certify anything.
More than 7300 couples have successfully applied for marriage online through Diia. 52% of applications are submitted by women. Almost equally, couples choose a full registration ceremony and marriage without any celebrations.
Most marriage applications through Diia are filed in Kyiv.
How to apply
- Log in to the Diia portal.
- Click Services → Family → Marriage application.
- Fill out the application and select the details of the ceremony.
- Pay the administrative fee with a card and sign it with an electronic signature.
- Your partner will then receive a link to the application via email. He or she must also sign it with the QES.
The application will be processed within one business day. You will receive the result the next day.
