iPhone 15 Pro will receive Visual Intelligence feature with iOS 18.4

Apple ‘s latest iOS 18.4 developer beta adds Visual Intelligence, the company’s Google Lens-like tool, to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, 9to5Mac reports.

Apple told Daring Fireball that the feature will be coming to these iPhones in a future software update, but did not say which one. Barring any last-minute changes, it looks like it will be available to the general public with the official release of iOS 18.4, which is expected in April.

Visual Intelligence appeared as a feature accessible via the Camera Control button in the iPhone 16 lineup, which debuted in September. Since the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max don’t have a camera button, you’ll be able to use Visual Intelligence via the Action button or Control Center instead, similar to the recently released iPhone 16E.

According to 9to5Mac, today’s iOS 18.4 beta 2 developer update also adds the Action Button and Control Center options for visual intelligence to the rest of the iPhone 16 lineup.
