JBL has officially unveiled its new Cove series of Wi-Fi speakers, designed to deliver a seamless whole-home audio experience. Launching today, September 1st, these speakers allow users to connect multiple Cove units via Wi-Fi using the JBL One app, ensuring music flows uninterrupted throughout different rooms in the house. JBL emphasizes that the playback remains continuous without the need to ungroup devices or reconfigure settings.
Introducing the Cove Series Ecosystem
The Cove series introduces a modular approach to home audio, allowing users to build their system gradually based on their needs. Beyond multi-room audio, the Cove speakers can also integrate with JBL’s Bar Series MK2 soundbars, serving as rear speakers to create an immersive home theater setup.
Three Models to Suit Every Need
The Cove series comprises three distinct models:
Cove M1
The entry-level Cove M1 is tailored for everyday listening. It features a dual-driver design with three tweeters and one woofer, enhanced by AI sound uplift technology to minimize distortion at high volumes. The Cove M1 is priced at $230 (approximately ¥1,549 RMB).
Cove P1
Designed for flexibility, the portable Cove P1 comes with a built-in battery offering up to 14 hours of playback on a single charge. It supports Dolby Atmos for an elevated audio experience and is available for $400 (approximately ¥2,694 RMB).
Cove X1
The flagship Cove X1 is the largest model in the lineup. It boasts a more powerful audio configuration with four tweeters and two woofers, also supporting Dolby Atmos. The X1 is engineered to fill entire rooms with sound and is priced at $450 (approximately ¥3,031 RMB).
All three models, the Cove M1, P1, and X1, are available in black and white color options and will go on sale starting September 13th.
