In March, Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro as the first ever phone based on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip in China. Since this is the “Pro” variant, there is a possibility that the company plans to release a non-Pro version soon. Interestingly, TheTechOutlook spotted a Google Play Console listing for the Xiaomi Civi 4 (without the “Pro” label), indicating the potential existence of a non-Pro variant of the Civi 4.
Xiaomi Civi 4 listing in Google Play Console
As you can see in the above image, a Xiaomi device with model number “24053PY09C”, code name “chenfeng” and marketing name Xiaomi Civi 4 has appeared in the Google Play Console. This device also appeared in the list of supported devices on Google Play.
We would like to remind you that Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro also has the same model number. A recent report claimed that it might not be released globally. However, its Indian version, which has the model number 24053PY09I, will be marketed as the Xiaomi 14 Civi.
Going back to the listing of the Civi 4 Play Console, it should be noted that this is indeed a different device than the Civi 4 Pro, as its image shows only one hole on the screen. The Civi 4 Pro, on the other hand, has a pill-shaped cutout on the screen for a dual selfie camera. The screen has rounded edges, and you can see the volume rocker and power button on its right edge.
As for the specs, the listing shows that the Civi 4 display has a resolution of 1236 x 2750 pixels and a screen density of 480 (xxhdpi). It has 12 GB of RAM and runs on Android 14. It is powered by a Qualcomm chip with model number SM8635, which hints that it has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 on board. However, the listing doesn’t mention the processor and GPU details.
