Vivo Y38 5G name confirmed by Bluetooth SIG certification, passes CQC certification

Vivo seems to be preparing to unveil another Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y38 5G. The MySmartPrice team spotted the upcoming Vivo Y38 on the Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group) certification website. The smartphone has also received the CQC (China Quality Certification) certificate. Let’s take a look at the details.

Vivo Y38 5G was spotted under the model number V2343. According to the listing, it will be equipped with Bluetooth 5.1 support. The phone will support fast charging at 15W (5V/3A), 18W (9V/2A), and 44W (11V/4A).

Not much is known about the technical specifications. However, the Geekbench listing hints at the details of the chipset and RAM.

Vivo V2343 also appeared in the Geekbench 4 benchmark database a few months ago. The upcoming phone scored 3,092 points and 7,035 points in the single-core and multi-core rounds, respectively. It has become known that the phone may receive an octa-core processor with an Adreno 613 GPU.

This could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. Vivo has several Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 smartphones in its portfolio, including the Vivo Y200e, Vivo Y100 5G, Vivo V30 Lite 5G, and Vivo V40 SE 5G.

Furthermore, the Geekbench listing shows that the Vivo Y38 5G will come with 8GB of storage and will ship with Android 14. Vivo hasn’t confirmed anything about the Vivo Y38 5G, but we can expect the phone to be officially unveiled in the coming weeks.
