Redmi 13 has passed IMDA and EEC certification

Redmi is preparing to launch Redmi 13. The upcoming smartphone has previously appeared on the FCC certification website. Now, the MySmartPrice team has spotted Redmi 13 in the IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) and EEC certification databases, which hints at an imminent launch.

In these databases, the upcoming Redmi 13 received the model number 2404ARN45A. This seems to be a variant of the device for Latin American markets. Other than that, these lists do not reveal anything about the upcoming phone.

However, the Redmi 13 recently received an FCC certificate indicating that it will be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery (the exact capacity is 4930 mAh). It will have 33W fast charging support. The smartphone will come pre-installed with HyperOS 1.0 operating system based on Android 14. It will have Bluetooth 5.3 support.

Recently, a report surfaced online that the upcoming Redmi 13 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor. The phone is reportedly codenamed Moon and is said to be coming to the Indian market. It will also debut as the POCO M6 in some markets.

We expect to learn more about the device in the coming weeks through certifications and benchmarks. The company has not yet announced a launch date for Redmi 13. However, we can expect it to appear in the coming weeks.
