Vivo X Fold 3 appeared on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 16 GB of RAM

Yesterday, an official poster appeared, which allegedly revealed the launch date of the Vivo X Fold 3 series. It also hinted at standard and pro variants. Leaks and rumors reveal information about upcoming foldable smartphones. Now, the X Fold 3 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing its hardware details.

Vivo X Fold 3 has appeared on Geekbench

Vivo X Fold 3 is listed in the Geekbench database under the model number V2303A. This is the same as in the 3C certification, which revealed support for 80W charging. The benchmark platform mentions a motherboard codenamed “kalama”, which consists of three cores clocked at 2.02 GHz, four cores clocked at 2.80 GHz, and one main core clocked at 3.19 GHz. The setup corresponds to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. This contrasts with rumors of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on the device. The listing also indicates 16 GB of RAM on board, but we can expect more options at launch. The foldable phone will ship with Android 14 out of the box.

In the single-core and multi-core Geekbench tests, Vivo X Fold 3 scored 2,008 and 5,490 points, respectively. The benchmark database does not reveal any additional details about the device.

Vivo X Fold 3 has already received IMEI, China’s Radio Certification, MIIT, and 3C certifications. This indicates its imminent arrival. As for the main specs, the foldable phone is rumored to have a 6.53-inch external and 8.03-inch internal display with an OLED panel and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The X Fold 3 will have a 5500 mAh battery and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera.
