Technical specifications of Samsung S95D QD-OLED TV
The South Korean tech giant claims that the new OLED TV is able to eliminate any noticeable glare. This will ensure the smoothest and most uninterrupted viewing experience even when light hits the TV screen. However, Samsung doesn’t seem to have made any major compromises for this “glare-free” effect. The company has used a “specialized hard coating layer and surface coating pattern” to make sure that viewing angles are not affected and colors are not distorted.
The S95D QD-OLED TV is Samsung’s brightest OLED screen ever. Not only that, but it’s available in diagonals up to 77 inches and has a 144Hz refresh rate. In other words, you can even use it for an enhanced gaming experience. Pantone has even confirmed an AI-powered color accuracy feature on the S95D monitor. All this in an ultra-thin 11mm body, and the TV comes with Samsung’s One Connect Box.
The new QD-OLED TV Samsung runs the latest version of the proprietary Tizen OS operating system, which is based on the Samsung ID user ID. The TV also has HDR10 and HDR10+ support. The company also announced a slightly scaled-down version of the S90D OLED TV, which does not have the anti-reflective coating and design elements of the flagship model.
