Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Pro leak: The return of the Pro with a big battery

Samsung is currently working on a new generation of smartwatches, namely the Galaxy Watch 7 series. We’ve already written about various rumors and reports about the upcoming smartwatch. Now, a fresh report hints at the battery specifications. So let’s take a look.

The South Korean tech giant is expected to release three Galaxy Watch 7 models, namely SM-L30x, SM-L31x, and SM-L70x. One of these models will reportedly include the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro. If this is true, Samsung is bringing back the Pro version of its smartwatch. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro was the last one, skipping an iteration with the Galaxy Watch 6 line.

Now, according to a report from GalaxyClub, the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro is one of three upcoming models. The leak showed that the SM-L70x model will be equipped with a battery with the product number EB-BL705ABY, which has a nominal capacity of 578 mAh. For comparison, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro was launched with a 573 mAh battery. This could mean that the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro is in the works, with a typical capacity of 590 mAh.

This battery pack has recently been certified in the brand’s home country, South Korea. The smaller SM-L30x and SM-L31x models are likely to be regular Watch 7 variants, which will likely also offer smaller batteries. It’s worth noting that the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro name hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, so take this news with a grain of salt for now.
