Leaked iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro mockups reveal all the design changes

Recently, the iPhone 16 series has been in the headlines thanks to numerous leaks and rumors detailing possible changes in the upcoming line. Recently, CAD renders and smartphone cases have been leaked online, giving us an idea of what the new iPhones might look like.

Now, dummy devices, which are usually used by case manufacturers to ensure compatibility, have also appeared on the network, allowing us to get an early look at the iPhone 16 series.

The images posted by Sonny Dickson on X/Twitter show the design of all four models of the iPhone 16 line. As expected, there are noticeable design changes compared to the previous iPhone 15 line.

Significant changes are coming to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. The images show that Apple is changing the camera arrangement of these models to vertical from diagonal, which was in previous versions. This change is intended to enable spatial video recording for Vision Pro.

In addition, the Action button, which was previously exclusive to iPhone Pro models, seems to be present on all iPhone 16s. We also see a new Capture button on the right side of the device.

Rumors suggest that the button will have a mechanical design with a capacitive surface to control the zoom using gestures.

The mockups also show that the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will be slightly larger than the base iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. While this is not confirmed, there is speculation that the Pro models may see a slight increase in display size – up to 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches for the Pro and Pro Max, respectively.

It is expected that Apple will launch iPhone 16 smartphones sometime in September. As with any leaks and rumors, it is important to remember that these details are not yet confirmed and may change before the official presentation.
