Samsung has quietly announced an updated version of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024). This was reported on Samsung’s Romanian website. The tablet is the successor to the 2022 model. The original S6 Lite was released in 2020. The latest version has the same configuration as the previous one, except for a different processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) has the same 10.6-inch screen surrounded by thick bezels. It has a WUXGA resolution and is compatible with the S-Pen. The device retains the same design with a single 8-megapixel camera sensor on the back. The front camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels allows you to take selfies. The tablet is equipped with dual speakers with AKG tuning and Dolby Atmos support.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is powered by an octa-core processor with clock speeds of 2.4 GHz and 2 GHz. Reports suggest that it is the Exynos 1280. The tablet is still offered with 4GB of RAM combined with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. For additional storage needs, there is a microSD card slot. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is powered by a 7040 mAh battery, which is claimed to provide up to 14 hours of battery life. In terms of software, the device runs OneUI 6.1 based on Android 14 with Samsung DeX, Knox and other applications.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is available in WiFi and LTE versions. It is available in Oxford Grey, Mint, and Chiffon Pink colors. The price and availability of the tablet have not yet been announced.
