Ahead of its scheduled launch in China on April 12, the Oppo A3 Pro has been spotted on China Telecom’s website with high-resolution renders and, more importantly, its full specs. So let’s take a look at what the phone has to offer in advance.
Slim and lightweight phone with a curved design
First of all, the Oppo A3 Pro has a curved design at the front and back. In the middle there is a large round rear camera and a central hole for the selfie camera. At the bottom of the device is the Type-C port, the main microphone, the SIM card tray, and the speaker grill (bottom right). The top of the phone has only an additional microphone.
The dimensions of the phone are 162.66 × 74.32 × 7.89 mm, meaning it is only 7.89 mm thick. It weighs about 182 grams for the glass back version and 179.5 grams for the leather back version. For those who don’t know, it’s both lighter and thinner than the iPhone 15 Pro. The device will be available in three different colors: “distant mountain blue”, “sky blue” and “cloud brocade pink”. The latter is also listed as “rose”. The phone is currently available for pre-order in its home country, and as a result, real-time images of it have appeared on the Internet.
With the listing by China Telecom, virtually all of the phone’s key specs are now confirmed. It will be available in three storage configurations – 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and finally 12GB + 512GB.
Speaking of cameras, you’ll get a 64MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the back, as well as an 8MP selfie camera on the front.
The phone features a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with FHD+ (2412 x 1080) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It was recently spotted on Geekbench running the Dimensity 7050 chipset, which is backed by a 5000 mAh battery and a 67W charger. A feature of the phone that none of the latest iPhones or Galaxies have is IP69 dust and water resistance.
According to China Telecom’s listing, the retail price can start at 1999 yuan, which is equivalent to $276.
