Redmi launched the Redmi 13C and Redmi 13C 5G smartphones in Q4 2023, and now the brand is reportedly working on the Redmi 13 5G. A recent report revealed the model numbers for different markets and the chipset they will be equipped with. A new leak that appeared on Weibo revealed the battery size and charging capabilities of the device.
Redmi 13 5G battery, charging details leaked (rumors)
As a reminder, Redmi 12 5G was equipped with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. The same chip is expected to power the Redmi 13 5G. The new leak claims that the device will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and will support 33W fast charging. Last year’s Redmi 12 5G had the same battery, but supported slow charging at 18W.
The Redmi 13 5G’s internal code is N19, and it is said to have a codename of “Breeze”. The model number 2406ERN9CC is reportedly associated with the Chinese variant of the device. Its Indian version is identified with the model number 2406ERN9CI.
Another variant with the model number 24066PC95I is reportedly on its way to India. This device will most likely arrive as a Poco device and will likely be named “Poco M7 5G”. The Redmi 13 5G and Poco M7 5G are expected to come pre-installed with Android 14 based on HyperOS. Other details about these devices have not yet been disclosed.
As a reminder, Redmi 12 5G features a 6.79-inch 90Hz IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, Android 13 based on MIUI 13, and a fingerprint scanner on the side. For photography, it has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup.
