Realme Note 60 design, display, camera and battery revealed

Just seven months after the launch of the Note 50, Realme appears to have unveiled its successor, the Note 60, in Indonesia. The company has yet to make an official announcement, but several listings from local retailers on Instagram reveal most of the phone’s specifications and confirm its immediate availability.

The phone is built on a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and HD+ resolution, just like its predecessor. Realme has added a “smart touch in the rain” feature that makes it easier to use the phone with wet fingers. The phone also boasts IP64 dust and water resistance.

On the back of the phone is an updated camera module, which contains a 32-megapixel primary sensor with 10x digital zoom, as well as another additional sensor that has not yet been identified. The main camera is better than the 13-megapixel one on its predecessor, but its color remains the same – blue and black to choose from.

Despite its budget price, the Note 60, surprisingly, has a metal frame, which is a step up from the Note 50’s plastic construction. Under the hood, nothing has changed: the device is powered by the Unisoc T612 chipset. It is paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage.

The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery, but the charging speed is limited to a slow 10 watts. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is responsible for security, and face unlocking is done with a 5-megapixel front camera.

The base variant of the Realme Note 60 with 4 GB/64 GB of storage costs Rp 1,399,000 (about $90) in Indonesia, and the 6 GB/128 GB model costs Rp 1,599,000 (about $103). Since the phone is already available for purchase, an official announcement from Realme is probably not far off. We will keep you updated.
