POCO's first tablet passes FCC certification, launch coming soon

POCO is expected to enter the tablet market. The company’s first tablet will reportedly be called POCO Pad. As part of the new development, the MySmartPrice team spotted the upcoming POCO Pad in the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) certification database. The tablet also appeared in the Camera FV-5 database.

The upcoming POCO Pad has a model number of 2405CPCFBG. The FCC listing indicates that the tablet will come with HyperOS 1.0 operating system. It also became known that the tablet will support Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax.

The listing indicates that a 33W Xiaomi charging adapter was used for testing. The charger has the model number MDY-12-EA. Other than that, nothing else is specified.

POCO Pad: Camera specifications

However, the Camera FV-5 database hints at the characteristics of the tablet’s camera. According to the listing, the POCO Pad will have an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and EIS. The front camera will be 8 megapixels with f/2.3 aperture.

The upcoming POCO Pad is rumored to be a rebranded Redmi Pad Pro launched in China. The Redmi Pad Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and supports up to 8GB of RAM. It is equipped with a 10,000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging support.

The Redmi Pad Pro has a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a resolution of 2.5 thousand pixels, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is equipped with four speakers with Dolby Atmos sound.
