MSI MAG 27″ QD-OLED gaming monitor is available worldwide

The new MSI MPG271QRX QD-OLED gaming monitor is now available for pre-order. It delivers high speed performance with a 360Hz refresh rate and 1440p resolution on a 27-inch screen. Based on Samsung’s latest 3rd generation QD-OLED panel technology, the display promises crisp images and accurate color reproduction, suitable for both hardcore gamers and professionals.

The monitor boasts a fast response time of 0.03ms and features HDR, which delivers rich blacks and high contrast for an immersive gaming experience. Although peak brightness for HDR content is not specified, the monitor is certified to the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black standard.

To prevent the common problem of OLED burn-in, MSI has introduced a graphene film with a special heat sink to manage heat and extend the life of the monitor. Additional features include “border protection” to reduce the risk of image retention and “taskbar detection” to prevent burn-in from static screen elements.

Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C, and more, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices. The HDMI 2.1 ports support advanced features such as 4K at 120Hz, VRR, and ALLM, and the monitor also offers KVM functionality to control multiple devices with a single set of peripherals.

In the US, the MPG271QRX QD-OLED is priced at $799.99, but in the UK and Eurozone, it is higher at £999.99 and €999.99, respectively. The monitor will start shipping in the US soon, and the UK release is scheduled for April 23.

By the way, a 32-inch version of the MSI QD-OLED monitor is also available for pre-order in the US and Europe. It has a 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate.
