Huawei has recently confirmed that it will launch the Pocket 2 foldable phone on February 22 in China. It will reportedly feature the same design language as previous models under the Pocket brand. It is also reported that the device will be available in purple, black, and white colors. However, leaked images that appeared today show that it may be available in several other colors.
A tech blogger has shared live images of the back panel of Huawei Pocket 2. As you can see, the images suggest that the device will also be available in blue and green variants. The images show that its back panel has two round cutouts, one for the camera setup and the other for an additional display.
It is unclear if these backs are made of glass. The purple version of the Pocket 2 will reportedly have a leather back, while the black and white variants may have a glass back. The device is also said to be available in a custom version with “Art” branding.
Specifications of Huawei Pocket 2 (rumored)
There are rumors about Pocket 2 specifications that are slowly leaking online. There is no word on the display size and camera configuration of the device. It is said that it will be equipped with a Kirin 9000S chipset and a 4520 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
The device will be equipped with 12 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage, and Harmony OS 4 operating system. As for the body, it will be waterproof and equipped with a fingerprint scanner located on the side panel. It is also reported that it will support messaging via satellite.
Huawei also confirmed that it will announce the Freelace Pro 2 Bluetooth neckband along with Pocket 2 on February 22. However, there is no detailed information about the device yet.
