Huawei claims that StarLight consumes 60% less power while offering 6 times faster data rates than traditional systems. If these assumptions hold true, Huawei could set a new standard for connectivity in the laptop market. StarLight is designed specifically for applications that require high-speed data transfer and minimal latency, such as augmented and virtual reality.
The potential inclusion of StarLight technology in the Huawei MateBook X Pro marks a significant leap forward in wireless connectivity for its laptops. Currently, only a few Huawei devices support StarLight technology, including the extremely popular Huawei Mate60 series and MatePad Pro 13.2.
