Kyivstar TV, a movie and TV platform, has expanded its global and Ukrainian content viewing options by making it available on Xbox. The Kyivstar TV app can now be downloaded by all Xbox users in Ukraine from the Microsoft Store.
Currently, 200 million people in the world use Xbox. As of December 2024, 40.86% of Ukrainians who use game consoles prefer the Xbox brand.
Kyivstar TV on Xbox
Xbox by Microsoft is one of the world’s largest brands of gaming consoles – specialized electronic devices that are designed and built to play video games. Most often, the output device is a TV or computer monitor.
The interface of the platform on Xbox is identical to the one that Ukrainians watching it on SMART TV are used to. However, Kyivstar TV is additionally adapted for gamepad users.
“This is an important step as we strive to make our service available on all platforms that are important to our users. I am confident that the ability to watch online TV, sports broadcasts, movies, TV series and cartoons directly on Xbox will make using our platform even more convenient, and fans of the console will not need to switch between devices,” said Timur Zaidullin, Head of Product Development and Implementation at Kyivstar TV.
