Kyivstar helps to purchase mobile communication systems for air defense

The Come Back Alive Foundation, Kyivstar, its subscribers and concerned Ukrainians have joined forces to support the Air Force through the We Live Here: Mobile Communication Systems for Air Defense charity initiative. Thus, Kyivstar prepaid subscribers can join the initiative by activating the charity Superpower “Help for the Armed Forces”.

The initiative aims to provide the defenders of the Air Command “South” with ten complex communication systems and necessary equipment worth 65 million hryvnias.

Superpower “Help for the Armed Forces”

Kyivstar subscribers can activate the unique charity Superpower “Help for the Armed Forces” – a special subscription that allows them to make a monthly donation of up to UAH 50 just by using mobile communication.

The donation is automatically deducted when paying the tariff without additional charges for the subscriber as long as they have a subscription. Thanks to Superpower, more than UAH 65,180,930 has been raised for the humanitarian needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

How to activate the Help for the Armed Forces Superpower:

  • make sure that your tariff has the Help for the Armed Forces Superpower – it is convenient to do this in the My Kyivstar application;
  • activate the Help for the Armed Forces Superpower – this can be done through the My Kyivstar application, by calling 500 or by USSD request *550*11*1#;
  • simply pay for your tariff as usual, and Kyivstar will transfer up to UAH 50 from each tariff payment to the Come Back Alive fund.

Kyivstar has allocated UAH 50 million to the Come Back Alive Foundation for competent assistance to the army as part of a joint initiative.

Integrated hardware connections

Integrated hardware communications are new trucks that accompany air defense missile systems. They provide a stable and secure communication channel between the division and the command.

“They are equipped with everything necessary for military specialists to deploy communications in the field and shoot down enemy air targets faster,” says Oleksiy Dubynka, a consultant with the Come Back Alive initiative.

The project will continue until the target amount of UAH 65 million is reached.
