Kyivstar connects shelters and houses for IDPs to the Internet

Kyivstar Home Internet continues to actively cooperate with communities, condominiums and other concerned residents and provide free Wi-Fi in their bomb shelters or bomb-proof buildings.

The telecom operator launched this initiative from the first days of the full-scale war. During this time, more than 1460 shelters across the country have been connected to free Internet, and the cost of this project has exceeded UAH 690 thousand.

The company emphasizes the need to use the shelters during air raids and makes efforts to ensure that citizens stay there, stay in touch with their loved ones, and keep up to date with the events.

To apply for a bomb shelter or a shelter to be connected to the Internet, you need to send a request to wifi@kyivstar.net, indicating your contacts and the connection address. The company’s technical specialist will promptly provide feedback on the possibility of connection and the time required to fulfill the request.

In addition, Kyivstar Home Internet continues to connect modular housing estates for IDPs and is ready to cooperate with developers. The connection service is free of charge for all residents of the modular towns. Currently, 1184 modular houses are connected to the Internet.
