This update addresses a specific visual artifact encountered in the popular game Naraka: Bladepoint.
Key Fixes and Improvements
The primary focus of this driver update is to resolve an issue where players of Naraka: Bladepoint, using either the DirectX 12 or DirectX 11 API, might have experienced missing textures, particularly near bodies of water within the game. This fix ensures a more visually complete and immersive experience for gamers using compatible Intel integrated graphics.
Known Issues in the New Driver
While this update brings important fixes, Intel also acknowledges two known issues with the Graphics Software:
- Intermittent Crashes in Windows 10 Settings: When attempting to reset all settings via the ‘Settings’ > ‘Preferences’ > ‘Reset all settings’ option in Windows 10, the application may crash unexpectedly. However, resetting settings on individual pages is not affected by this bug.
- Single Crash on Rearranging Metrics: The Intel Graphics Software might encounter a one-time application crash when rearranging metrics for the first time within the ‘Select Metrics’ window. Subsequent attempts to rearrange metrics should not trigger this crash.
