Huawei P70 will receive a triple camera with 50MP

The next line of smartphones from Huawei is expected to be the Huawei P70 series. Its launch is scheduled for late March or early April.

We’ve been hearing a lot about these phones lately. A new leak over the weekend details the device’s camera specs.

According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Huawei P70 will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary sensor with variable aperture. This main camera will be paired with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle module and a 50MP 4x periscope telephoto with macro capabilities.

Earlier, the same source said that the phone would be equipped with a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H main camera.

It looks like the model with the Sony sensor could be Huawei P70 Art. And vice versa, the model with the OmniVision sensor may be Huawei P70 Pro.

Earlier today, Digital Chat Station announced that the P70 family will use two displays. These screens will have diagonals of 6.5 and 6.8 inches. Both panels will have 1.5K resolution and LTPO technology. They will have micro-bends on all sides.

The Huawei P70 series is expected to be powered by a HiSilicon chip with 5G support. The smartphone may feature the Kirin 9000S SoC, as in the Mate 60 line. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the Art model will use hybrid lenses made of 1G6P glass and plastic.

We look forward to learning more about the Huawei P70 family. If they are indeed officially unveiled in two months, more details about these phones should appear on the Internet.
