Huawei Band 9 has received TDRA certification

Huawei is preparing to launch its new Band 9 fitness tracker on the global market, and all signs point to its imminent arrival. After recently being certified by Malaysia’s SIRIM certification agency, Band 9 has also received certification from the TDRA in the UAE.

In the TDRA database, it is listed under the model number KIM-B19, the same as in the SIRIM database. However, apart from its presence on the certification website, which indicates the probability of launching in the UAE, the listing does not reveal any other details about the tracker.

While the certification does not provide specifics on its features or specifications, Band 9 is expected to build on the success of its predecessor, Band 8, which was released last year.

As a reminder, Band 8 features a large 1.47-inch AMOLED display that offers great visuals for a budget tracker. It includes Huawei’s TruSleep 3.0 technology for accurate sleep monitoring and personalized sleep recommendations.

In addition, the Band 8 is equipped with TruSeen 5.0 heart rate monitoring, which provides users with a 7-day resting heart rate graph for valuable information about their heart health.

In addition to sleep and heart rate monitoring, the Band 8 offers more than 100 sports modes, blood oxygen levels, women’s health tracking, and all-day stress monitoring. Notably, it boasts an impressive 14-day battery life and supports fast charging, allowing it to go from 0 to 100% in just 45 minutes.

With its appearance in certification databases, it is clear that the launch of the Huawei Band 9 is imminent. Although specific details are still scarce, we can expect more information to emerge in the coming days.
