Moto G Power 5G appeared on Geekbench with Dimensity 7020 processor

Motorola is preparing to release the Moto G Power 5G (2024) smartphone. Detailed renders of the phone appeared in November last year, showing its design from all sides. Now the upcoming device has appeared on the Geekbench list.

According to a Geekbench entry, the Moto G Power 5G (2024) will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset. For those who don’t know, this chipset is a rebranded version of the Dimesnity 930 processor used in its predecessor, the G Power 5G (2023).

The chipset boasts two 2.2 GHz Cortex-A78 cores for demanding tasks, and six 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores for efficiency.

In Geekbench tests, the smartphone received a respectable score of 679 in single-core performance and 2005 in multi-core performance. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and Android 14 pre-installed.

Other than that, the Geekbench listing doesn’t provide any additional details about the device.

However, it is rumored to have a 6.7-inch display with a center notch for the selfie camera. Motorola is expected to use an IPS LCD panel for the display, possibly with an HD resolution of 1200 x 1600 pixels.

Judging by the official images, Motorola will release the device in Orchid Tint and Outer Space colors. The device is expected to have dimensions of 167.3 x 76.4 x 8.5 mm and flat edges on the corners.

In addition, G Power 5G (2024) can support 67W wired charging. Other specifications of the smartphone are currently being kept secret. Rest assured, we will keep you posted on any new updates regarding the device.
