Honda will officially unveil two Series 0 electric vehicle prototypes at next year’s CES, and the company says they will be available for purchase worldwide sometime in 2026. The cars will be based on the futuristic concepts that the company unveiled at CES 2024, including a flagship model called Saloon, which features an aerodynamic design. They will be the first representatives of the Series 0 line, which is expected to be equipped with an advanced driver assistance system and, in the coming years, automated driving functions based on artificial intelligence.
In addition to presenting the prototypes themselves, Honda will also unveil a new proprietary operating system that will be used by the Series 0 cars. In addition, the event will offer a sneak peek at the SoC that powers the vehicles. Honda has been lagging behind its competitors in terms of the transition to electric vehicles, but its first electric SUV, the Prologue, has become one of the best-selling electric vehicles in the United States since its release in the country earlier this year. The company will unveil its new electric vehicle prototypes during a press conference in Las Vegas on January 7 at 10:30 a.m. PT/1:30 p.m. ET. The event will be streamed live on YouTube, but we will also keep you updated with the latest news from CES 2025.
