Hisense has released another premium model to join its flagship mini LED TV lineup. It comes with a huge maximum brightness rating of 5,000 nits. In January, Hisense unveiled four mini LED TVs at CES 2024, including the 110UX (110-inch screen) and its 98-inch sibling. The Hisense U8N was also on the radar as another premium model. The new U9N series will be introduced with a 75-inch and 85-inch screen.
Features.
The Hisense U9N series is located between the ULED X and U8N series. The new TVs retain most of the premium features of the top model, but at a lower price. These include Hi-View Engine X image processing and mini LED backlighting that provides up to 5300 local dimming zones. The brightness of the Hisense U9N series is 5,000 nits, the same as the 98-inch ULED X TV presented at CES 2024. The U9N features a quantum dot LCD panel and supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, IMAX Enhanced and HDR10+ wide dynamic range. It also supports the preset Filmmaker Mode picture mode and its screen has an anti-glare coating.
The Hisense U9N mini LED TV has an ultra-wide viewing angle function that improves the image quality for people who are far from the center of the screen. The audio system of the U9N series includes a 4.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos audio system with an output power of 82 watts. U9N TVs are equipped with the Google TV smart platform, WiFi 6E module and ATSC 3.0 tuner for receiving digital TV channels.
The Hisense U9N has a native 144Hz refresh rate and is well suited for use as a gaming TV. It also features AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Dolby Vision gaming system, a customizable Game Bar feature, and an automatic game mode.
