Details about Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro appear in HyperOS code

According to rumors, Xiaomi is working on a new series of smartphones called Xiaomi 14T. The lineup may include two phones – the regular Xiaomi 14T and a more powerful Pro version, the Xiaomi 14T Pro.

Interesting details about these devices were recently found in Xiaomi’s HyperOS code, according to Android Headlines. Apparently, Xiaomi 14T Pro may be a slightly upgraded version of the rumored Redmi K70 Ultra.

Although both phones share a codename (“rothko”) and model number (“N12”), which hints at similar features, the report suggests that the Xiaomi 14T Pro will have some improvements over the Redmi K70 Ultra.

It is claimed that the smartphone will have features such as wireless charging and a telephoto camera with Leica lenses, which allegedly will not be in the Redmi K70 Ultra.

In addition, Xiaomi 14T Pro is likely to be powered by the Dimensity 9300 processor. The phone is expected to be launched globally under the model numbers “2407FPN8EG” and “2407FPN8ER” and will be available in different regions.

The standard Xiaomi 14T, reportedly codenamed “degas”, will also be available worldwide under the model numbers “2406APNFAG” and “XIG06”. Like the Pro variant, it is not expected to enter the Indian market.

Although details about the processor remain unconfirmed, it is speculated that it may retain the Dimensity 8200 Ultra from its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13T.

The Xiaomi T series usually distinguishes between standard and Pro models with a processor. Both the 13T and 13T Pro had similar cameras and battery capacities. The trend will continue in the 14T series.

The Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to enter the Chinese market in August. Therefore, it is likely that the global launch of the Xiaomi 14T series will take place in September.
