Earlier, Huawei had already postponed the launch of the P70 series. Today, the company has officially confirmed the rebranding of the flagship P series to Pura. So future flagships will be called Huawei Pura 70 series. But when will they appear?
The Pura 70 series is expected to be available by the end of April
According to reports, a number of Huawei authorized stores in Beijing have indicated that the Pura 70 series may be available by the end of April. A salesperson at an authorized Huawei store in Beijing said that the Huawei Pura 70 series may possibly hit store shelves on April 18.
Reportedly, a blind ordering campaign has been launched in the manufacturer’s country, where users can leave their phone numbers with retailers and will be informed as soon as the phones are available in stores. However, this does not guarantee that they will definitely get the phone. It depends on the number of devices that will be available and the order of the reservation. According to the seller, more than 100 people have already placed orders for these phones.
While officials were unable to reveal much about the upcoming series, these speculations are reportedly based on official information.
Rumor has it that the Pura 70 series will have four versions: Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra.
The official video released today to introduce the new branding also hints at the triangular camera module in the new phones, a design element that has been rumored since the series was known as the Huawei P70.
