Cadillac is expanding its electric vehicle fleet with a new luxury SUV. The Cadillac Vistiq 2026 is a three-row all-electric SUV that will be available in showrooms and dealerships next summer at a starting price of $78,790.
The two-motor, all-wheel drive Vistiq is powered by a 102 kWh battery pack with a 300-mile range that delivers 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Vistiq also supports bi-directional vehicle-to-home (V2H) charging: it can charge at home and also deliver electricity to your home during a power outage. To use these features, you must purchase the GM Energy V2H package.
The SUV’s design is aesthetically inspired by other Cadillac electric vehicles. Like the Lyriq, it has flush door handles and similar headlights and side panels. The range also matches the 300-mile range of the Lyriq. The “tilted back windshield” and “black crystal grille” are reminiscent of the Escalade IQ.
Of course, the power and price of the Vistiq are different from the Cadillac EV. The new Cadillac EV SUV is cheaper than the Escalade IQ ($129,990) but more expensive than the Lyriq ($58,595), and the Escalade IQ has a longer peak range of 450 miles.
The Vistiq is equipped with a 23-speaker AKG7 Studio Audio system with Dolby Atmos support. The Android-based infotainment system is built into a 33-inch high-resolution LED display. The Verge also reported that the navigation system of the new electric car uses Google Maps and can run other applications from the Google Play Store.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will not be available in the new Cadillac electric car. General Motors is gradually phasing out Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on its electric vehicles and plans to switch to Android Automotive. GM’s executive director of digital cockpit Edward Kummer said in an interview with Reuters that the automaker does not want its electric vehicles to have any functions “that depend on a person having a cell phone.”
