BYD’s Denza Z9GT, a luxury GT car, is set to expand its pure electric offerings with the launch of a new model on September 9th. This announcement comes as the Z9GT has consistently topped the sales charts in the luxury GT segment for several months.
New Pure Electric Variant on the Horizon
Li Hui, the General Manager of Denza Auto, revealed that the company has been listening to customer feedback. Many users have expressed a desire for the extreme driving control offered by Denza’s ‘Yi San Fang’ (Easy Three-Electric) technology in a pure electric configuration, combined with luxury, performance, and lighter weight options.
In response, Denza will introduce a new model for the Z9GT on September 9th. This addition aims to bolster the ‘Yi San Fang’ pure electric product line and will be accompanied by special purchasing benefits for customers.
Denza Z9GT: A High-Performance Luxury Sedan
The Denza Z9GT was officially launched on March 5th, with prices starting at 269,800 RMB. The model lineup includes:

- Pure Electric Flash Charge Flagship Type: 299,800 RMB
- Yi San Fang Flash Charge Performance Type (Pure Electric): 369,800 RMB
For the plug-in hybrid variants:

The new Denza Z9GT is notable for being the world’s first mass-produced and delivered vehicle equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and Flash Charge technology. The pure electric version boasts an impressive CLTC range of up to 1036 kilometers. The plug-in hybrid variant offers a pure electric range of 401 kilometers and a combined range of 1301 kilometers.
Dimensions and Specifications
In terms of physical dimensions, the Denza Z9GT measures 5195mm (or 5180mm for some variants) in length, 1990mm in width, and 1490mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3125mm. This places it firmly in the large luxury sedan category, offering ample space and a commanding presence.
