Huawei has officially unveiled its latest smartwatch lineup, the Huawei Watch 6 series, running on the new HarmonyOS 7. The announcement was made during the Huawei HarmonyOS 7 | HUAWEI Mate XT 2 and All-Scenario New Products Launch Event. The new watches start at a price of 2799 yuan.
HarmonyOS 7 and AI Integration
The Huawei Watch 6 series is powered by HarmonyOS 7, bringing an integrated AI assistant, Xiao Yi, directly to your wrist. This AI assistant is designed to work seamlessly with HarmonyOS phones, offering features like intelligent recognition and prioritization of important text messages.
Design and Materials
The 46mm version of the Huawei Watch 6 comes in two color options: Sky Blue and Deep Space Black. It features a spherical sapphire glass display and is constructed with 316L stainless steel. The 42mm version is available in three colors: Frost White, Dawn Gold, and Phantom Black, and is built with aerospace-grade aluminum alloy.
Advanced Health Monitoring
In the health domain, Huawei has collaborated with the Shanghai Institute of Hypertension, affiliated with the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. This partnership has led to an improved 24-hour hypertension risk assessment feature, offering more flexibility. The watches also boast an AI Health Interpretation function, which provides a comprehensive analysis of multi-dimensional health data, precise insights into abnormal changes, and personalized recommendations for improvement.
Huawei Watch 6 Pro
Alongside the standard Watch 6 series, Huawei also introduced the Huawei Watch 6 Pro. The 46mm Pro model is available in Space Exploration, Jupiter Brown, and Titanium Silver colorways. The 43mm Pro version comes in Ceramic White and Starburst White.
The launch event also featured other new products, including the HUAWEI Mate XT 2 and various all-scenario devices, highlighting Huawei’s commitment to expanding its ecosystem powered by HarmonyOS.
