Chrysler is working on an all-electric version of the Chrysler Pacifica minivan, according to Green Car Reports. The EV version is reportedly “likely” to arrive a year after the company unveils an updated Pacifica design with elements of the Halcyon concept that Stellantis demonstrated earlier this year.
Currently, the Pacifica lineup includes a standard gasoline-powered minivan and a plug-in hybrid with an estimated 32-mile electric-only range before it switches to gas. Chrysler CEO Christine Feuell who confirmed the plans to Green Car Reports during the Los Angeles Auto Show on Thursday, did not say whether the company would keep a plug-in hybrid alongside the all-electric model.
