CES 2024: Samsung's latest innovation lets you listen to music in a photo frame

CES 2024 is in full swing, and tech companies are announcing their new products in various categories. And Samsung is no exception. Among their latest innovations is the new Music Frame, a device that combines the elegance of a photo frame and a speaker.

Art is combined with sound: A musical framework

The Music Frame’s name and design subtly echo the popular Samsung The Frame TV. So needless to say, it boasts a sleek, minimalist design that will fit seamlessly into any living space.

The front panel serves as a digital canvas on which you can display photos, artwork, or even your own digital creations.

But the real point lies beneath that aesthetically pleasing exterior. Each Samsung Music Frame consists of two tweeters, a set of midrange speakers, and a pair of subwoofers that automatically adjust to the acoustics of your room.

They also support Dolby Atmos, so you can enjoy immersive music and movies.

As you would expect from a modern smart speaker, Music Frame supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, so you can easily stream music from your smartphones, tablets or computers.

Plus, if you’re already part of the Samsung ecosystem, Music Frame can easily integrate into your existing system. You can connect it to your Samsung TV or soundbar to work as a TV speaker, rear speaker, or even a subwoofer.

If you purchase a second music frame, you can pair them together in a stereo pair or use them as left and right wireless surround speakers. Or you can connect up to five speakers for synchronized playback.

In addition to being a speaker, the Music Frame doubles as an IoT hub, which means you can also use it to control your smart home devices. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t announced a release date or price for the Music Frame yet.
