Amazon sells almost everything, including tiny houses, so why not add cars to the list? Starting today, users in 48 cities across the continental United States can purchase a new Hyundai car from a local dealer through Amazon Autos.
The marketplace offers financing options and a way to schedule a pickup at a local dealership. Buyers can even get an instant estimate of the value of your current vehicle and then simply drop it off when they pick up their new car.
Amazon also offers transparent pricing and promises that it will eliminate the need to haggle with the seller. Since all of this is done through the familiar Amazon interface, it is possible to see user reviews of cars and dealerships.
Amazon says it will add more Hyundai dealerships over time (the two sides signed an agreement last year to provide this service). Next year, Amazon Autos will include more manufacturers, brands, cities, and features.
