On this date, the legacy MiMo-V2.5 models will be completely removed from the system. Any requests attempting to access the old model names will result in an error. MiMo V2.6 Series: Enhanced Performance and Value
The MiMo V2.6 series, officially launched and open-sourced by Xiaomi on September 22nd, features two native, fully multimodal models: Pro and Flash. This new generation builds upon the success of its predecessors while introducing significant improvements.
A key highlight of the MiMo V2.6 series is its pricing structure, which remains consistent with the V2.5 series. The Flash model is priced at 1 Yuan per million input tokens and 2 Yuan per million output tokens. The Pro model is set at 3 Yuan per million input tokens and 6 Yuan per million output tokens, with an attractive 99% cache discount. Xiaomi emphasizes that, at comparable intelligence levels, these models offer a significantly more cost-effective solution, being 1/20th to 1/60th the price of comparable overseas models.
Xiaomi’s commitment to advancing AI through open-source contributions is evident with the MiMo series. The V2.6 release continues this trend, offering powerful, multimodal AI capabilities that are both high-performing and economically accessible. Users are encouraged to embrace these advancements to benefit from superior inference capabilities and better value.
