Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 with satellite connectivity has passed 3C certification

Xiaomi is rumored to release Xiaomi MIX Flip and Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 in the third quarter of 2024. In a new development, MySmartPrice spotted an upcoming Xiaomi smartphone with the model number 24072PX77C in the 3C certification database. The listing indicates that the phone supports satellite communication, so it could be the upcoming Xiaomi MIX Fold 4. Let’s take a look at the details.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 in the 3C certification database

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 will support 67W fast charging. According to the listing, a charger with the model number MDY-15-EQ was used for testing, which supports fast charging with a capacity of 15 W (5 V / 3 A) and 67 W (20 V / 3.25 A). In addition, the listing does not reveal anything about the upcoming folding device.

Last month, Digital Chat Station reported that Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 will be thinner than the HONOR Magic V2, which is currently the thinnest foldable device. This means that Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 will claim the title of the thinnest folding smartphone when it launches.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It will feature a 50-megapixel rear camera with a 1/1.55-inch sensor size and optical image stabilization. It may also have a 60-megapixel 2x telephoto camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10-megapixel 5x periscope camera.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 will reportedly be the company’s first IP-rated foldable smartphone. To date, Xiaomi has not brought any of its foldable devices outside of China, so the chances of Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 entering global markets are slim.
