Xiaomi Civi 4 is the next big launch from the company. We’ve been hearing about this product for the past few months.
Earlier it was said that it would be powered by a MediaTek chip. Later, it was rumored that it would be equipped with a Snapdragon 7 series chipset. But recently, it was reported that it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 series SoC.
After that, a new leak appeared that reveals all the key features of this phone.
According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Xiaomi Civi 4 will be powered by the Qualcomm SM8635 mobile platform. We don’t have any details about this Snapdragon 8 series chip at the moment, except that it will be used by several phones from different brands.
In addition, the insider claims that the device will be equipped with a flat display with a 1.5K resolution. This panel will be covered with 2.7D micro-curved glass, just like the Xiaomi 14 series.
Interestingly, the phone will be equipped with co-branded Leica cameras, led by a 50-megapixel sensor. This makes it the first non-Xiaomi phone to be adorned with the Leica brand.
The device will also have a metal frame and a glass back, similar to flagship smartphones. Finally, it will be equipped with a battery with a capacity of more than 5,000 mAh and will support 100W charging (possibly 120W).
Based on the specifications described above, the Xiaomi Civi 4 will be different from its predecessors. Previous models offered curved displays, dual front cameras, and mid-range chips.
The launch of Civi 4 is expected in May. Thus, we look forward to learning more about this smartphone in the coming weeks.
