Xiaomi’s 15 series smartphones are still a few months away, but reports about them have already begun to appear online. The latest rumors hint at some key features, so here’s everything we know about these upcoming devices.
Main features of the Xiaomi 15 series
The news was shared by Smart Pikachu on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging site). This leak provides more details about the tech giant’s next annual flagship phones. Judging by the online post, the Xiaomi 15 series is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which coincides with one of our previous reports.
Back in December 2023, a leak from a well-known Digital Chat Station informant claimed that the Xiaomi 15 could have a 6.36-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Likewise, the latest leak from Smart Pikachu adds that the Xiaomi 15’s display could have a 1.5K resolution. A previous report revealed that mass production of the Xiaomi 15 lineup could begin in September.
This means that deliveries can start as early as October. The Xiaomi 14 series was first introduced in the Chinese home market back in October 2023. So we can expect similar launch dates for the next generation flagships.
