The tech sector’s ongoing efforts to force the introduction of generative AI features into widely used services continues with the update to ChatGPT‘s WhatsApp integration. There are now more ways to interact with the chatbot in the app. To use it there, you need to add 1 (800) CHAT-GPT – or 1 (800) 242-8478 – to your contacts.
WhatsApp reports that users around the world can now upload images to the chatbot just as they would when using ChatGPT directly. You can also send a voice message to chat with ChatGPT, which will respond via text. Additionally, starting today, WhatsApp users can connect their free, Plus, or Pro ChatGPT plan to get more features to use the service in the Meta app.
ChatGPT made its debut on WhatsApp in December, although initially the only input option was text. The app also features its own AI chatbot, Meta. Meanwhile, if you try to avoid such things as much as possible, it’s not too late to convince your loved ones to switch to Signal.
