Vivo plans to launch the Vivo X Fold 3 series of smartphones soon. It is currently known that the lineup will include the vanilla X Fold 3 and the X Fold 3 Pro model. A recent press leak revealed the camera details of the X Fold 3 Pro model, and now Jia Jingdong, Vice President of Vivo, has shared more information about the X Fold 3 series, as well as shown what the X Fold 3 Pro looks like.

In a post on Weibo, Jia Jingdong claims that the X Fold 3 series will be the “thinnest and lightest” flagship foldable device. They will also be quite powerful, with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood.

Along with the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro camera samples, he also shared three images of the product, which appears to be the X Fold 3 Pro.

In addition, Jia revealed that the device’s AnTuTu score exceeds 2.17 million points. It has the large 8.03-inch screen of the Samsung E7 and inherits the superior imaging capabilities of the vivo X100 series, featuring Zeiss T* lenses, a 50 million pixel primary camera and Vivo’s V3 image processing chip.

The folding phone is also quite durable thanks to the “Armor Feather” body structure designed specifically for folding phones, which has earned it the world’s first five-star SGS certification for drop protection, as well as IPX8 water resistance.

The phones will have a “Blue Ocean” battery system on board to address battery life, which promises long-lasting performance even in extreme conditions. Last but not least, the Vivo artificial intelligence model will be integrated into these upcoming foldable phones. The brand has yet to reveal the exact launch date among many other key details, so stay tuned.
