Vivo V30 Lite 5G launched as the first phone in the V30 series

Vivo has quietly announced the Vivo V30 Lite 5G smartphone in Mexico. It is the successor to the Snapdragon 695-based Vivo V29 Lite 5G, which debuted in June this year. Here is an overview of what awaits Vivo V30 Lite buyers.

Specifications and features of Vivo V30 Lite 5G

Starting from the front, the Vivo V30 Lite 5G has a 6.67-inch AMOLED E4 screen with curved edges and a center punch. It supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a pixel density of 394 ppi, and a peak brightness of up to 1150 nits. The display is slightly smaller than the 6.78-inch panel offered on the previous model.


The Snapdragon 695-powered V30 Lite is equipped with 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It has a 4,800mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The battery size has also decreased, as the previous model had a 5,000 mAh battery.

On the front, Vivo 30 Lite 5G has a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus. The rear camera consists of a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro or depth camera. The rear cameras are accompanied by a temperature-controlled LED ring flash.


V30 Lite 5G comes pre-installed with Android 13 and FunTouch OS 13. The device is equipped with other features such as dual SIM, 5G, 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, USB-C port and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Finally, the V30 Lite comes with an IP54-rated body that measures 162.35 x 74.85 x 7.69 mm and weighs 190 grams.

Vivo V30 Lite 5G price

The price of the Vivo V30 Lite in Mexico is 8,999 Mexican crowns (~530 USD). It is available in two colors: forest black and rose gold. In addition to Mexico, the smartphone is also expected to appear in some Asian markets in the coming weeks.
