Vivo TWS 4 and TWS 4 Hi-Fi with Qualcomm S3 Gen 3 sound platform launched

At the recent launch event for the Vivo X Fold 3 series, the brand also debuted a pair of highly anticipated TWS headphones called Vivo TWS 4 and TWS 4 Hi-Fi. These are the successors to the Vivo TWS 3 series headphones, which were launched in 2022.

Specifications of Vivo TWS 4 and Vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi

TWS 4 is equipped with Qualcomm S3 Gen 2 sound platform, and TWS 4 Hi-Fi is equipped with the recently introduced S3 Gen 3 sound platform, which promises improved sound quality. Both models are designed to fit comfortably in the ears and offer features such as 55 dB active noise cancellation and up to 45 hours of battery life.


The headphones use Bluetooth 5.4 for a stable wireless connection and have ceramic tungsten acoustic diaphragms for better sound quality. The headphones also feature AI call noise cancellation and low latency of 44 ms, and TWS 4 Hi-Fi supports high-quality aptX Lossless audio encoding at 1.2 Mbps and aptX Adaptive.

A special feature of the headphones is the spatial sound field technology, which creates 3D sound with four different spatial sound modes. Both models have a 12.2 mm dynamic driver, an audio range of 16 Hz-48 kHz, and support for various audio codecs, including LDAC and the aforementioned aptX Lossless for TWS 4 Hi-Fi, as well as AAC, SBC, and LC3.

Price and availability

The TWS 4 series headphones are available in navy blue and white for TWS 4, and blue and white for TWS 4 Hi-Fi, priced at RMB 399 (USD 55) and RMB 499 (USD 69) respectively. They are currently available for pre-order and will be officially launched in China on April 3.
