Vivo, which has just launched its flagship X100 series, is reportedly working on new mid-range smartphones in the Vivo S18 series. Now, key specs of the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro have been leaked online, thanks to WhyLab’s Weibo source.
Specifications of Vivo S18, S18 Pro (rumored)
The leak, which seems to be a presentation of two smartphones, shows that Vivo S18 will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. We’ve already seen this SoC in action in the new Honor 100, so Vivo S18 will be one of the first devices with SD 7 Gen 3.
It will be equipped with a 2800-nit OLED display and a 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone will also offer a choice of three RAM configurations – 8 GB, 12 GB or 16 GB – and two storage options: 256 GB or 512 GB.
The Vivo S18 Pro, on the other hand, will reportedly feature the flagship Dimensity 9200+ chipset and offer similar memory configurations as the Vivo S18. It will also be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. Earlier it was reported that both smartphones will support 80W fast charging.
The leak also reveals the main camera of the Vivo S18 Pro, which is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 sensor – the same as the Vivo X100. In addition, the smartphone will also be compatible with WiFi 7.
In line with past trends, the Vivo S18 is expected to be launched globally as the Vivo V30, while the S18 Pro is likely to be launched as the Vivo V30 Pro. The S18e is also expected to follow its predecessor, the S17e, which may be launched as the V30e.
There is no official information on the launch date and prices for the Vivo S18 series smartphones yet, but we can expect more details from Vivo in the coming weeks.
