Ukrtelecom and mobile operators lead the way in taxes

Ukrtelecom, the largest taxpayer among fixed-line operators and providers in Ukraine, paid over UAH 1.35 billion in taxes and duties to the budgets of all levels in 2023.

According to Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, in 2023, the consolidated budget of Ukraine paid 4.6% more in the telecommunications (telecommunications) sector than in 2022. Ukrtelecom is one of the four largest taxpayers in the telecom market in general and the largest among fixed-line operators and providers.

“Most of the industry’s revenues (80.1%) are generated by Kyivstar, Vodafone Ukraine, Lifecell and Ukrtelecom,” says Getmantsev.

“Today, everyone is doing everything possible to bring the Victory closer and support the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Our taxes are our contribution to support the country in this difficult time. We continue to work so that we can all defend our freedom and independence together,” said Yuriy Kurmaz, CEO of Ukrtelecom.

Ukrtelecom continues to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces: over UAH 210 million of charity aid has been allocated for defense needs since the full-scale invasion of Russia.
