TikTok is all about the tunes, and the social network has added an integration to directly post audio from streaming services. Share to TikTok is a new feature that will allow Apple Music and Spotify listeners to share music with the video platform. The tool allows you to publish tracks, albums, playlists, and other content to your TikTok Feed, both in FYP and Stories. Streaming audio can also be shared via TikTok DM.
Although TikTok has become a popular place to find and share audio, the company recently announced that its music platform, TikTok Music, will be shut down at the end of this month; the service was never launched in the United States. The company has also faced scrutiny for encouraging addictive behavior among its users, as well as for possible security concerns. The US has considered banning the app, and Canada recently ordered TikTok to cease operations in the country.
