The global variant of the Redmi Note 13 5G received three rear cameras instead of two

Earlier today, we reported on the renders of the global variant of the Redmi Note 13 series. Five devices are expected, of which three will be 5G-enabled, while the remaining two will be limited to 4G connectivity.

The 5G models will be the same as those sold in China. However, judging by the renders, the vanilla Redmi Note 13 5G will be slightly different. Let’s find out what it is.

Renderings of the global variant of the Redmi Note 13 5G show that it will have three rear cameras instead of two, as in the Chinese version. The same happened with the Redmi Note 12 5G.

The images suggest that the international model will retain the main 108-megapixel sensor. But, unfortunately, nothing is said about the other two sensors. For those who don’t know, the Chinese version comes with a 2-megapixel depth sensor, just like its predecessor.

For global markets, Xiaomi has replaced the 2-megapixel depth sensor on the Redmi Note 12 5G with a 2-megapixel macro lens and included an additional 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module. Perhaps the same may happen with the international variant of Redmi Note 13 5G.

With the exception of the rear cameras, the phone is likely to retain all the features of its Chinese counterpart.

Redmi Note 13 5G features a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ 120Hz resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chip paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. In terms of software, it loads MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

The device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 33W charging.
