The dates of Apple's WWDC 2024 have been officially announced

Apple has officially announced the return of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on March 26, 2024. This highly anticipated event will take place virtually from June 10-14, offering developers from around the world the opportunity to immerse themselves in the latest progress in Apple’s software landscape.

Apple is making WWDC24 completely free for all developers. The online format will definitely get more global participation, allowing developers to tune in to the keynote and explore a ton of resources throughout the week. This includes video sessions, the chance to talk to Apple engineers and designers, and the chance to connect with the broader developer community.

Although the main conference will be virtual, Apple will also hold a special in-person event at Apple Park on June 10. Seating will be limited, but developers can apply to attend via the Apple Developer website and app. This exclusive event offers attendees the opportunity to hear the keynote firsthand, interact with members of the Apple team, and participate in unique activities.

WWDC24 promises to be the center for learning about the latest iterations of Apple’s operating systems. Developers can expect to gain a deep understanding of the latest developments for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. Apple’s commitment to developer success goes beyond software updates. The conference will also provide valuable access to innovative tools, frameworks, and features that will enable developers to create even more exceptional apps and games. For ongoing updates and additional information about WWDC24, developers can follow the website and the Apple Developer app.

Apple’s commitment to Apple doesn’t stop with experienced developers. The company continues to support future generations through initiatives such as the Swift Student Challenge. The winners of this year’s competition, announced on March 28, will be eligible to compete for a coveted spot at an in-person event at Apple Park. Fifty outstanding winners will be selected for an exclusive three-day trip to Cupertino, where Apple is headquartered.
