TCL has just launched an affordable smartphone called the TCL 505. The phone has a flat design with two cameras on the back and a reflective coating. The phone has a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and 400 nits of brightness, and features blue light reduction and glare minimization technology.
TCL 505 is powered by Helio G36 chipset, has 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory with the possibility of expansion via microSD card. Users will have the opportunity to virtually increase the RAM by an additional 4 GB, improving its performance in demanding tasks.
The TCL 505 has a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/2.55-inch sensor with 0.7μm pixels, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The phone also features two speakers for a more immersive sound experience when playing media.
The 5010 mAh battery supports 10W charging to keep the device running all day on a single charge.
The TCL 505 is available in Ocean Blue and Space Gray colors, continuing the design style of the TCL 50 series. Although TCL has not yet announced the pricing of the 505, the device is expected to be competitively priced in the market.
